It looks really nice in our garden, it feels pretty solid. The copy of the instruction manual we received was not very well printed, and so we were scratching our heads at some parts. Also, you have to drive long screws into the wood horizontally between the bars, getting a an electric screwdriver in was impossible, and we had a lot of work to get a small screwdriver in to join the side panels. But, now that we've put it together, it looks really nice, we put some solar lights in, with the charging panel on the roof, and it looks very pretty after dark, it's big enough to put a Weber performer under so, a pretty good size.
We are so sorry you had some struggles with assembly Kevin, thank you for the review and feedback this will be really helpful for other future potential buyers! I will also pass all this on to the manufacturer as they are always interested how they can further improve their products :)
The shelter is made of really good quality wood, it was extremely easy to assemble even for 1 person and it looks superb when completed. The shelter is extremely good quality and superb value for money.
It looks great, so happy you are pleased with it! Thank you for the review :)
I can not fault your Customer Service staff I feel they went above and beyond, the product was delivered as promised. The product is great and as described, was easy to assemble. I am very pleased with it and it looks great. If I had one criticism it would be when it rains the roof leaks which is a little frustrating as the BBQ gets wet. Thank You
Thank you for the lovely review and feedback, we really appreciate it :) We will pass this on to the manufacturer to further improve their product!
Very well packed for transit Good Quality My only criticism would be that slightly longer screws are needed
Thank you for the review and feedback Linda, I will pass this on to the manufacturer!
Awkward to put together. Fitting 4" screws in a 5" gap with no pilot holes using a screwdriver was really difficult. Not enough room to use a powered screwdriver. The shelter is very heavy and feels substantial however I am going to have to felt the roof as it leaks like a sieve when it rains.
I am so sorry to hear about the leaking roof, if you want to email me over a photo of it Mike I can get you some felt sent out ASAP to help solve the problem for you!
Received and erected on 9th June. On the 24th, reported by email that roof was leaking and sent images. On 28th, reply from Willow Bay suggesting treating roof with oil. I replied with lengthy letter, stating why oil would not work and suggested roof replacement, no reply. 2nd July, sent further images showing holes in roof, no reply. 7th July, telephoned Willow Bay and was advised they were awaiting response from manufacturer. Very disappointed.
Hi Norman, we had been discussing back and forth with the manufacturer the best way to sort the roof for you and had faced some delay with them getting back to us - I am so sorry this was poorly communicated to you, we should have still kept you updated and in the loop as we waited. We have sent you out some felt as discussed to stop leaking, so I hope this has solved the problem and allowed you to enjoy using the BBQ shelter :)
